Parkside Community School is a deep-rooted, community-oriented Montessori school serving children ages 3-12 in Austin, Texas. Since 1991, we have cultivated academic excellence and rich social and cultural experiences in an environment that nurtures the whole child and provides a vibrant, loving community for the entire family. Our founders, Joe and Claire Bruno, answered a calling to create a school where each child receives not only the highest quality Montessori education, but other life-changing gifts: true community and lasting friendships; connection with the natural world; music appreciation; and social and emotional skills that build a child’s confidence and ability to succeed in life. We call our approach “Montessori from the heart,” and we believe our unique combination of offerings makes Parkside a very special school – for the children, the families, and the staff.

We are fully staffed for the 2024-2025 school year.
